South African property firm Pam Golding Properties has opened a franchise office in Nairobi in a bid to grab a share of the lucrative Kenyan real estate market.
The Pam Golding Properties-Kenya franchise, which opened doors at Fortis Plaza in Westlands last month, will be offering property services covering commercial and residential properties, valuations as well as legal assistance.
“We have already sold about eight residential properties and we are now picking up mandates for commercial sales and lettings,” CEO of PGP-Kenya Andy Collett said in a statement.
Collett said the firm is bullish about the Nairobi real estate market and it will introduce specialists for its property services so as to distinguish itself in the market.
“We will have specialists for residential as well as commercial sales and lettings. We’ll also have area specialists who will handle clients within their territories,” Collett said adding that the franchise will not be involved in property development.
Pam Golding Properties, an associate of London based Savills, recently received the 5 star award for Best Real Estate Agency in South Africa at the International Property Awards in Dubai.
