The first African Real Estate & Housing Finance (AREHF) Academy awards will début in Nairobi this March to recognize excellence in the continent’s real estate and housing finance sector.
The high profile event, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel from March 29-30, 2012, is designed to recognize and celebrate industry players who have put in significant efforts to boost the real estate and housing finance sector in Africa.
The awards, which are co-sponsored by Shelter Afrique, Standard Group, Pison Housing among other firms, are an initiative of AREHF Academy – a leading resource centre for realty development in Africa.
During the event’s media launch held at the Standard Group offices last week, real estate players in Africa were called upon to apply or nominated for the awards.

The board will be looking for execution of exceptional transactions and projects that have made huge impact to the social, economic and developmental well-being of the people and countries in the region.
Voting will be done from March 12 – 23, 2012 and the results will be collated by March 26 – 28, 2012 ahead of the event. Visit www.arehfacademy.org to send in your nominations.
I wish to vote for Pangoni Beach Resort as having the best architectural design in Africa.
